In my 27 years of selling real estate, I find that it depends on where the home is located. If you are in sunny South Florida like me, the darker colors do not necessarily sell as quickly as the lighter colors do. Also, if you live in South Florida and have any type of dark brick on the exterior, I recommend painting it a lighter color such as white or off-white to give the illusion of the home looking larger than it may be. Such a simple fix, but it will be a huge improvement.
